G-Cloud 12 is a Government framework that helps public sector assess and purchase professional cloud-based services.
Facilitated by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), G-Cloud 12 offers a competitive tender process and regular benchmarking to ensure its users have access to the most competitive offers from specialised cloud service providers. This saves framework users the time and money typically associated with conducting their own procurement exercises.
Inclusion in the framework represents Ascent’s first direct step into the UK public sector, building on our experience of working through partners.
“This is a really exciting opportunity for Ascent,” said George Earp, Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re looking forward to creating new, direct relationships under the framework and providing tangible value to public sector businesses who want to build serious digital muscle.”
Since 2003, Ascent has worked with leading European businesses across a wide range of sectors including financial services, manufacturing, retail, postal and logistics, automotive, aerospace, telecoms, eGov and eHealth. Ascent is UK based with specialist hubs in Malta and Bulgaria and smaller local teams in 14 countries worldwide.
Our business has evolved and strengthened dramatically over the past 12 months. We are now uniquely positioned to make highly valuable, difficult to find and engage deep technical skills accessible, easy to consume and aligned to the challenges facing public sector organisations today. We will connect data, software and purpose to drive extraordinary outcomes for government bodies, departments and citizens alike.
